As per Blizz: Kitty DPS is Too high but it is very hard to master it.
Unlike some classes Feral Druid does not have a "rotation" however they do have a priority list meaning use the abilities in that order:
1. Keep mangle up at all times, refresh if needed, never let it fall off unless you have another feral druid on "mangle duty". Mangle Glyph is a must.
2. Keep rake up but never refresh, its better to let it fall off for a sec instead of refreshing as you will lose the last tick. Rake is the best damage per energy ability ferals have.
3. Keep Savage Fury on at all times, do not do any attacks unless you have it on, pop it even if you have only 2 points, do not use any special attacks without it.
4. Rip at 5 points, don't worry about keeping this one on full time just don't refresh it ever.
5. Shred if all of the above are up or cannot be done.
Few things to remember: always keep at least 50 energy or so, don't just spam away. On a low armor, cloth target replace Rip with Ferocious Bite but make sure you don't have full bar and there is Rake on the target at the time of execution as bleed = additional 50% to crit. Tiger Fury and Omen of clarity must be used only on Shreds even if Rake is not on.
Typical fight:
Tank pulls I hit FF. Open with mangle, Rake, Savage Fury, (if you have imp tiger fury pop it now if not wait for a few sec) Shred, Shred (by this time i see rake is almost over so i wait till its gone) Rake (if you have good crit you will have 5 points) Rip after that it all depends on omens and crits just follow the priority list.
Check out BadKitty Helped me to get the "rotation" down.
